Japan's 1,000 yen note features a portrait of bacteriologist Hideyo Noguchi on the front, with Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms on the reverse, adapted from a photograph that has become one of the defining images of the mountain. This limited edition PLUS Air-In eraser takes that imagery as its starting point, with sleeve designs inspired by the banknote's aesthetic and a two-layer resin block that gradually wears down to reveal the silhouette of Mt. Fuji as you erase.
PLUS's Air-In formula is built with porous ceramic powder resin that traps graphite particles for a light, clean erase with minimal residue and no damage to the page. A notched sleeve edge helps protect the eraser from breaking.
A limited edition with a distinctly Japanese point of reference.
